A rough mix down for a new tune I made. 
Punchy kicks, broody strings and bass with a bit of atmospheric ambience and shuffled grooves. I might release this along with Sky Forest and a few other unreleased tunes in a future E.P. sometime soon.

The A-side, “Duplicity,” is a masterclass in minimalism cold, skeletal, and immersive, driven by tight basslines and subtle rhythmic shifts. Quartz proves that less truly can hit harder.

On the flip, “Black Prism” a collaboration with Overlook dives into raw ’90s techstep territory. Choppy breaks and haunting stabs build relentless pressure before giving way to a surprisingly blissful finale.

Quartz continues to cement his reputation as one of drum & bass’s most distinctive modern voices.
