Delve into the dark side of Queens, New York as told by one of its greatest griots, "Lansky Jones". Backed by the sinister bounce producer "SPVCE" (World's Fair - B.O.T.P) effortlessly delivers, and the keen ear of engineer extraordinaire Evan Sutton (RedBull Space NYC), LJ takes you into a parallel Queens underworld only similarly depicted in the 1993 Super Mario Bros., according to Lansky. "If you're from my generation and have seen that shitty Mario Bros film, me and Nigel come from a side of Queens that's a lot like that after dark. You go to Roosevelt Ave in the day time sure, it's gritty and grimy as fuck with a sense of warmth only a true New Yorker can appreciate, you go there after 12 and things just take a turn for the worst. Drugs, prostitution and crime infests the streets. The freaks and creeps of the city come out. It feels like you're literally in Escape from New York. The city can be gentrified as fuck, but the neighborhoods alone Roosevelt Avenue all seem to maintain this ominous undertone. Also it makes for good entertainment, me and Nigel have seen some crazy shit you wouldn't believe. It only made sense to have my COTN buddy and Corona counterpart on this joint to guide y'all through this Queens journey with me."

Lansky has been living in Queens for over half of his life. Originally from Roosevelt Island, NYC, he is a true and blue New Yorker, generations in. "I was actually supposed to be the first black jewish guy in this thing, Drake just beat me to it. Anyway, he's a talented guy, there can be two of us, that's fine," Lansky proclaims. Being Black American and of Ashkanazi Jewish origin (or "Holocaust Cocktail", as he proclaims in a jokey yet mildly off-colored way that only he can deliver) is something LJ is very proud of.  "I have roots in the south who migrated here from places like Suffolk County VA and the deeper south, and then I got my other half, from Washington Heights and other beautiful places like the Lower East Side and Bronx. I am one of the last of a dying breed. The Silverback Jew. "
