Seventh NFR chapter is an EP produced by French-based artist Knay, who started his project in 2018. In relatively short time Knay released some great music on labels like Natch, Ritualism, Circular Limited. As artist says himself - sound exploration is the main focus while having a studio session, combination of nature sounds, analog gear recordings, transposed and time stretched samples used to create textures and rhythms. These are usually classified according to different patterns, either the age of the gods, the age at which men and gods mix freely, or the age of heroes. On this occasion we want to give an interpretation of this text through of 7 beautiful tracks specifically sculpted with the profound idea of ​​taking each ear on a to a journey of time.

Llegamos al número 21 de Isolation Series de la mano de Irazu. Nacido en Madrid, pero viviendo en algún lugar de Europa, su conexión con la música electrónica es solo un símbolo del expresionismo sonoro del autodescubrimiento para tratar de saber quién es.

Irazu define su trabajo como "Un espacio íntimo entre la tensión y la falsa tranquilidad" y nos deja esta reflexión sobre el mix que ha titulado como ‘110’: 

“110 es un número sagrado. La soledad es parte de lo que es.

La energía que representa el número 110 es ilimitada. Tiene una propensión a tratar a las personas de manera intensa.

La profunda resonancia es la vibración de la propia soledad, la base sobre la cual se genera dicha intensidad.

Una persona con el número 110 en su mente tiende a ser consciente de su relación inseparable pero independiente con la soledad.

La soledad es una resonancia de la propia vida, la vibración es la base de la energía representada por el número 110.

Imagina estar en una situación de soledad extrema, con puntos de vista, pensamientos, reflexiones y sentimientos generados por la propia situación. 

Imagina poder reducirlo a un número.

Eso es  el número 110.”

Latmos delivers four pieces of classy hypnotic techno with a special spacey vibe.

"Plural Lifeforms" puts emphasis on equality and human rights recurring to an evolving groove and a heavy action of bleepy and hypnotic elements.

In "Genom", liquid synths and ethereal elements are interleaved with a ritualistic high-decay kickdrum blended with a reverberated ambiance.

"Sinking" presents a more detailed ambient texture and fast-paced rhythmic patterns. Sharp reverberated hi-hats create expansive and hallucinatory effects in the background. 

"Algorytmi" reworks the vibe of the EP implementing a basic structure that makes the track playable in different contexts.

Overall, a very interesting EP for the lovers of classy techno. Don't miss it!
