Hm, even though I am not the most political person, I have to say that my politics advanced course during my graduation years really influenced me until now.

Hey guys,

here is the recording of my dj set during Do Not Sit in Amsterdam at the amazing club De Marktkantine.

I would like to express my gratitude to Behrouz and the Do Not Sit team for making this magical night happen. Also, all my love and gratitude to everyone that came around to support and dance during my set. The energy was so lovely, as usual in Amsterdam.

Can't wait to play again in Amsterdam this 8 February for my birthday at Corals with Maga, Paralllells, Joep Mencke, Mahfoud, Elif, Lev Tatarov,  Ar & rec, Sebaas, Akira S., Deep Ghosh, Massimo, Niv Yefet, TanRut and Bona Fide. It's going to be a vibe!

Este EP es un reencuentro conmigo mismo, con música que vengo arrastrando desde niño por influencia de mis padres y de mi entorno en general.

Es muy ambiguo tratar de entender o expresar un tema concreto cuando la voz no está cantando o narrando a detalle así que se puede y se vale interpretar las canciones de este ep a como el corazón de cada quien lo sienta; sin embargo muy en el fondo todo el ep hace alusión a Apetlanca, un poblado en una sierra en el estado de Guererro en México.

Alvaro's relation with music starts early, as at the age of 5 he started to learn music through the violin. From then on, his interest in music increased day by day, opening his mind for another styles out of classical music but without leaving his violin aside. Influence of his classical studies in Alvaro’s music is huge, giving big importance to melodic elements on his productions and sets. The idea of making a link between classical and electronic music has been constantly on his mind so he supports his sets playing live violin.

Playing most of the times with versatile selections, Alvaro’s sets are always riding in between different styles of music. This time he created a journey with music from talented artists as Bodaishin, Jean Vayat, Andreas Balicki, Bona Fide, Phoesy or Evren Furtuna in between others, and add some of his own unreleased productions.

One of the people behind Mystic Creatures & Mystic Tales, Heyoka has been organising parties and festivals that brought a new breath to the downtempo scene in Berlin.
