Then "PANTA RHEI" was launched as a cast for deep genuine organic & experimental sounds. Yoga is the fashionable thing now. Yoga, as translated, means joining, yoking two separate things together. I am sure it had quite a different meaning at the beginning. Yoga meant probably harmony, not bringing two things together, the soul and the body. Yoga has been brought to the Western world to make people healthy, happy, young, find God. Originally, from what I was told, there was a certain leaf in the Himalayas which only very few people chewed, and it kept their brains and their minds tremendously alert. And as the vine or the bush disappeared, they had to invent a system called yoga which kept all the glands perfectly healthy, operating efficiently. And that is how yoga came into being, the exercises. Also in it is involved a moral way of life, not just doing some silly little exercises.

ABOUT GiZ:

Giz is a passionate music selector based in Berlin. She's currently making her joyful babysteps in a musical journey which - overloaded with so much heartwarming inspiration -  began a few months ago.

She grew up listening to vinyls from all around the world with her music aficionado father, which no doubt plays a role in her choices in life and music. She speaks 6 languages and is very much moved by all languages (from Indonesian to Mandinka) and instruments of any kind. 

She likes conveying ideas and experiences through her occasional writings but also believes in the immense power of silence and music- both as tools helping us (re)connect with each other and with the moment, in the moment, moment by moment. In the here and now, in unity. Slowing down- without rushing, racing, competing. Remembering we are here and alive, breathing in and out with vivid appreciation and gratitude for what is (just as it is) and for all the wonderful music that flies through our ears. Simply dancing and chanting while the music is being played, remembering we are here and alive.

Unsere „Auf zu Neuen Dächern“ Reihe wird heute glatte 20 Lenzen alt und der Kranich damit buchstäblich zum alten Hasen. Umso mehr freuen wir uns, dass unser Podcast-Jubiläum der Plattenkiste von „Elias Doré“ entspringt: Der gebürtige Berliner sammelte zahlreiche Erfahrungen in Bands diverser Genres von Afro-Funk über Klezmer bis hin zu Reggae und Soul, bevor er sich vor nicht allzu langer Zeit vollends der elektronischen Musik hingegeben hat. Mit dem Kurswechsel ist er sich dabei insofern treu geblieben, als dass seine Musik keine Spur der Wärme vermissen lässt, die er regelmäßig auf die Bühne gebracht hat: Seine Sets sind geprägt von der Liebe zu organischen Klängen und geradezu verspielten Melodien, die bereits die ein oder andere glückselige Floor-Umarmung zu verbuchen haben. Eine Direktinjektion Serotonin pur gegen die herbstliche Trübe – wir wünschen euch viel Spaß und freuen uns, „Elias Doré“ bald wieder auf dem Dach begrüßen zu dürfen.

Almost entering this Winter Season we have @drwartemal to warm our Souls and shake our Bodies...

This summer he went for his second Hedoné Seminar, and yet again it blew his mind how free everybody can be, when coming together to celebrate conscious hedonism. For him it really felt like all participants where part of an old Dionysian cult gathering in the woods to perform rituals celebrating the human experience together while indulging in all the pleasures that comes with it.

"It was the first time in my life that I played completely naked… And the thought of doing it, definitely gave some butterflies in the stomach beforehand, but the Naked Tea Party was after all the Workshops, so when we got to it, it actually felt really natural to all dance together naked."

"My absolute highlight, actually of the whole summer, was the after hour session. I’ve never felt a stronger and more synchronised field on a dance floor as that divine morning. Sure it helped with all those amazing musicians joining in and spicing up the dancemusic with real vibrations. It was fully an out of this world experience!
I’m looking very much forward to come back next year and co-create!"
