Mika El is an armenian producer, who settled for several years in New York and currently calls  Moscow his base. Visiting different countries and exploring a variety of cultures, Mika El developed a unique soundscript. His sound blends the vibrancy of cultural music with tribal elements and contemporary deep beats & synths. He began his music career in 2017, releasing on a number of labels as Kosa Records and MÓNADA.

Mika El's cover art is provided by Radka Tiarksova and her visionairy art project Radka Soulart. We believe that a combination of different styles of art will allow our senses to expand, feel & see the whole picture within. The name of this beautiful piece is 'I Allow'.
I allow... One stepping stone along our path to freedom is acceptance. 
Acceptance is not a passive way of making do with whatever is present. It is not a "whatever" attitude of resignation either, nor it's about liking or approving to something. Acceptance is a conscious choice to drop all forms of resistance to whatever has come present in the moment and making the most of it. Acceptence is about letting life flow and unfold without getting in the way. It is about being receptive rather than exerting resistance to what comes present. This absence of "resistance" not only saves us a lot of energy, but allows us to engage our reality in such a way that we can learn from it and go out strengthened. For many of us, our first impulse is to resist something that we do not like that comes our way. But when we do not work in cooperation with our here & now, our ego typically operates in a reactive mode to external circumstances, perceiving ourselves to be victims or winners in the game of life. But instead of focusing on the past or the future or wanting things to be different than they are, we can open to what is true in the here and now. This requires overriding the conditioned impulse and trust that facing this experience will have a specific value, that it is for us and not against us. It's about trusting yourself to rise to whatever occasion presents itself to you. It is about being open to ALL of life, knowing that it all has value whether you like it or not.

(Story continued from Witchtape #58)

After spending 3 intense weeks in the hidden village of the African rain forest, the little witch sensed it was time to head back to her own forest in Northwestern Europe.  The next morning, the girl kissed goodbye to her fiancé and her parents-in-law and gave a tender hug to the 8 witch apprentices, after which she flew back into North/Northwestern direction over the vast rain forest.  At least, that was her original flight plan, but she soon veered off course and her inner compass told her to head towards the North-East.  It was a long and breathtaking flight over towering mountains, green valleys and immense lakes, before heading towards dryish highlands with spectacular rock formations.  It was at that point that the girl sensed she had reached her destination and she gently touched down at the foot of a giant tree.  Two tribal girls saw her land and ran towards her.  Despite the fact that they had never seen a white person before, the girls instinctively trusted the little witch and gave her a warm welcome hug, before taking her to their village.  The witch immediately felt at ease, despite the fact that she was surrounded by humans.  But these were no ordinary humans as they were ‘primitive’ tribal people with a deep bond with mother earth, which goes back to the cradle of mankind.  Actually, this place is the Omo valley in Southwestern Ethiopia, where the oldest fossils of homo sapiens have been found, a staggering 195.000 years old.  So the people of this valley never forgot where they came from and live in perfect harmony with the surrounding nature.
The little witch felt so much at ease with the tribespeople, that she decided to dress in the same way.  So she swapped her immaculately white European dress for a beautiful African loincloth.  The tribal people looked in amazement at the little witch, and the children were giggling when looking at her pale-white skin, mesmerizing green eyes, pink nipples and they couldn’t stop touching and caressing her long brown hair (the hairs of a young witch are of an unbelievable softness).  But also the tribespeople looked really special, with the women wearing ornamental disks in their pierced ear lobes.  Their pitch-black skin was in complete contrast with the witch’s milk-white skin.  Actually, the tribals were getting ready for a celebration, painting each other’s faces and bodies in beautiful natural earth colors and decorating their heads and bodies with colorful flowers.  Also the little witch’s skin got painted by an elderly woman.  There were no mirrors in the village, so the girl never got to see her own painted face, but judging from the reaction of the villagers, the combination of the colors with her white skin and bright green eyes seemed to be absolutely breathtaking.
The celebration took place that evening around a bonfire and the tribespeople sang age-old songs and performed ancient dance rituals, strengthening their connection with mother earth to a new level…

June's full moon is brought to you by German talent Landhouse. Influenced by the techno party scene during the naughty Nineties, he started deejaying in early 2000.  Hosting a small Party row in Erdbeermund Karlsruhe called Wohnstubendisko since 2008, Landhouse started producing in 2014. 

His compositions are deep and touching, very powerful tools to unfold profound emotions and able to take you from dreamy atmospheres to the tenebrous side of music. 

We are proud to announce that this mix contains some inedited songs from his new 8 track Album LIFE, to release here on Pachamama mid July 2018. Watch this space and enjoy this podcast in the meantime!

One year ago we started our much loved podcast series MŎNɅDɅ BRɅHMɅ.

The title °MoNada Brahma° is inspired by the vedish „Nada Brahma“ which means „the world is sound“. Nada is the sound and frequency while Brahma means the world and creator.

Since primitive times, sages and experts of all cultures have known that tone intervals and music are representing structures of order that are present in the entire cosmos and everywhere in nature - in every stone, every tree, every blade of grass and of course, in every cell of the human organism.
Today it's proven through research and cymatics how sounds form and transform matter. Further we can experience the influences of sound in our every day life, as it is often enough for a person to simply really listen and sense, let it be a kind word or a favourite song, to embrace new enjoyment in life. So music and it's frequency is indeed an important and powerful tool for all of us.

All ancient cultures therefore attributed sounds and music a great power - a power that was used to preserve or restore harmonies in the body, in nature and in the cosmos, and thus played an important role in healing processes.
It is easy to understand that the sensitivity for the energetic effect of sounds has been largely lost in our time, as we live in the noise of mechanized civilization, in an acoustic pollution in which something like silence became almost impossible.

With MŎNɅDɅ BRɅHMɅ, we want to create timeless moments, moments where one can recover to find back to a harmonious resonance, within ourselves, to heal disturbances on a cellular, mental or spiritual level.

As usual, our dear friend and amazing artist Radka Tiarksova provides us another beautiful piece of visionairy art with „The Children Of Music“ by Radka SoulArt for our beloved cover art-podcast-ensemble.
