About this mix he reveals: The genesis of this podcast is rather unusual. I fell in love with Mâhfoud's track "I Wish I Met You Sooner, My Enemy" for expressing so beautifully what it feels like to come to the resolution of a long inner struggle. I knew I wanted to create a mix which represents that feeling and closes on this track. So the whole set was then planned in reverse, from closing to opening, building up the tension throughout, ending in a beautiful, harmonic resolution. Hope you enjoy the journey!

Seeger has a rich and diverse musical background of playing various instruments such as piano, drums, and guitar in genres ranging from punk rock to jazz. After moving to Berlin he quickly got addicted to the city's heartbeat of electronic music and inevitably started producing and djing himself. Listening to MADMADMAD can be delightfully disorienting, and that quality extends to the
band’s collagist and homemade visual art that accompanies their music. “History goes in cycles,
and we feel there’s a correlation with what happened a century ago, when everything was so
chaotic and people had a hard time making sense of what was going on in the world,” Benji
explains while describing how the band take cues from the 20th century’s Dadaist movement. “It feels like we’re at that moment again—where it’s quite hard to make sense of everything with so much information every day. There was quite a lot of confusion back then after the first world
war and a global pandemic, and the response of the arts was to reflect the nonsensical place
the world was at. We feel heavily influenced by that, so that’s what we put in our music and
visuals.”

Badness is the powerful new collaboration between iconic Jamaican artist Ninjaman and Australian/UK producer Monkey Marc, released on Digikillaz.

A bass-heavy track that incorporates elements of hip hop and dancehall, the genre-blending nature of this song harkens back to a brief but formative time in the 90s when the cultures of American and Jamaican musics were more visibly intertwined. Ninjaman was a key player in that era, and his presence on Badness deepens the song’s connection to this important time in dancehall history.

Ninjaman, who is currently serving a life sentence for murder in Jamaica, infuses Badness with a cautionary message to the youth, telling them to reject a life of crime rather than meet his fate. Badness is a strong platform for the dancehall veteran’s warning, with potent lyrics like, 'Let me tell you this. Badness is a risk. Finger pon di trigger and you pull it and you miss'. 

When he founded his Jamaica All for Peace One Umbrella Movement community organization in 2008, Ninjaman said,
"Only a man like me who has lived the life I've lived can be a role model to these youths, and telling them that if they go the path of drugs, they will end up like this, or if they take up a gun, they will end up like that. I've been down that road ...and it's time for me to take up this cause to save the youths from a life that's not good. ... We know that violence will never be eliminated, but we can at least bring violence down".

Dameon Gayle of Warrior Films JA is currently filming the Badness music video in Kingston, Jamaica. An upcoming remix is in the works with UK dubstep pioneer and founder of Tectonic Records, Pinch, and UK dub poet, Rider Shafique.

Versatile producer and DJ Matthias Harnitz from Hannover (UNESCO City of Music/Germany) is the musical mind behind the "m.age.project", amalgamating cross-genre electronic tunes out of the ordinary with diverse cultural influences and enchanting ethnic sounds. Starting out as a classically trained jazz piano player, he released a colorful bunch of globelectronica, classy deep house, latin lounge, trippy nu-jazz, chillout & meditation music on three full albums, several EPs and on more than a dozen compilations with labels like Sony Music, Zyx/Ayianapa, Baikal Nomads, Lump Records, Ohxalá Records, Shango Records, Nu Bohème Recordings and Peacelounge.

In 2013 Matthias Harnitz had the honor to compose and play music for His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama which was performed with 400 kids in Hannover at an educational event concerning the future of children and the need for a Global Ethic.

With his 2017 album "Tattoo Tara" and his "Elemental EP" in 2018 "m.age." made a change of direction, now exploring the deeper realms of organic house and mystic ethno-electronic club music. With beard braids behind the turntables he successfully premiered his new sound at one of Europe's biggest worldbeat festivals, "Masala", in 2017. Today the m.age.project is manifesting as a highly appreciated gem for open-minded listeners, clubbers and fellow artists all around the globe!
