At just 22, La’Porsha Renae closed out the final season of American Idol as the runner up and won the hearts of the world; including Motown Records, who signed La’Porsha on the spot at the American Idol Finale. La’Porsha Renae, a single mother of an adorable baby girl, defeated all the odds and turned her BATTLES into a dream come true. La’Porsha Renae is a domestic abuse survivor and is an inspiration to us all.  La’Porsha is currently recording her debut album for Motown Records due out fall 2016. La Porsha’s musical influences include: Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, Prince, India.Arie, & Janet Jackson
