Before You Go

Lapse are a 2-piece experimental electronic group from Belfast, Ireland. It was founded by Peter Keogh in early 2019 and at it's core, mainly centred around Piano and drum programming, with singles like Clarity and Amygdala. 
 
Since early 2020 the Lapse sound has shifted more towards the experimental electronic genre with the singles Unload, Manic & Before You Go, all of which were considered for the 2020 & 2021 Northern Irish Music prize, and the once-solo project has permanently taken Ellie Brétéché on board; a skilled vocalist and lyricist with a strong musical background.

After a successful release on their Debut EP The TV Lied To Us, and their first live performance to an audience of over 100 at Kilmurrin Cove in Waterford as part of Sean Corcoran (The Art Hand) and Rebecca Cappucini's visual art project 'Supersonic Sand", the duo are actively seeking local musicians to join them in order to take their ever-expanding catalogue of music to a live setting.
