Chalk is part of a collaboration with my very good friend Phoebe Pryor. Phoebe had the chalk for a long time and it was part of various art projects. Phoebe wanted to find a place for the chalk to rest on leaving home, so we took it to a secret place on the edge of a forest... It has become our hangout spot/listening guru/time holder/constant in an ever-changing world. This music is based on the sounds of Phoebe brushing, scraping and cleaning the chalk, from one of our early visits back in Jan 2018.
