There was pure magic all around me in the beautiful forest of the Bucht der Träumer Festival. I am beyond grateful. A dream came true. I fell in love with this festival three years ago. To play there one day wasn't even close to what I could have imagined back then. Thank you for being part, for making this memory so special! Your energy filled my heart and my soul. And of course my biggest thanks goes to all artist that are part of my set. What would life be without your music.. ♥

Kater Blau.. wow!! I followed the cat into the hole, like Alice followed the rabbit, it welcomed me, enchanted my soul and released me with a mind full of memories. Those two hours where pure magic. Juhuuu es gibt mal wieder ne zharte Rakäthe! Aber was war das für ne knappe Nummer?! Rakäthe liegt mit Covid im Hangar – es ist unklar, ob sie’s überhaupt rechtzeitig wieder rausschafft, während @zhart sich seine Masterarbeit drei Tage vor Abgabe um die Ohren haut. Zum Glück hat’s der Flow mal wieder geregelt und beide stehen genesen und gemastert Samstag Nacht im Kater auf der Matte. Da gab’s diesmal also mal wieder mehr als nur einen Grund zu Feiern.. Und eine ziemliche Abfahrt – der Kuckuck hat gebebt! Was für ein Vibe! Wir sind so unfassbar dankbar, solche Abenteuer – umgeben von den tollsten Menschen erleben und mitgestalten zu dürfen. Riesiges Dankeschön an alle, die neuneinhalb Stunden lang diese Stimmung und Energie auf den Floor gezaubert haben. Den Übergang zwischen unseren beiden Sets gibt’s jetzt für alle, die nochmal mit der zharten Rakäthe durch den Kater fliegen wollen.  LIEBE 🚀♥️

🌪What book are you currently reading: 
(Zhart:) The choice - Dr. Edith Eger 
She tells her story of surviving Auschwitz and shares inspiring insights about resilience and the power of choice in our lives. She explores how we can be imprisoned within our own minds and shares tools to free yourself. Her path from being a victim to working as a psychotherapist is truly inspiring.

🌪How do you decide which songs to play during a performance? Is there a specific method or strategy you use?
(Rakäthe:) It of course depends on the time of the day and the occasion but I decide what resonates with me, I go for a specific feeling which can also change over time. I sometimes put the display of my laptop totally dark or close my eyes and skip through tracks without seeing any infos of a track. Shutting down my visual sense helps me to totally focus on what I’m hearing and feeling :)

🌪What hobby would you like to have or pursue? 
(Zhart:)I’d love to kitesurf. Cruising and jumping over waves by using the power of the wind seems super fun.

The third time’s a charm. And after two years of cancellations, this time things worked out and I finally performed at Fusion’s Fire-Space.

Here’s the recording of my set – played Saturday afternoon between 16-18. 

A thanks goes to all the friends who showed up for my gig. Another to the Fire-Space for having me. Finally, a huge thanks to the artists and friends who shared heaps of unreleased music with me in the days before Fusion: I felt honored and privileged to receive them and be able to play many of them.

Zugvögel Festival will keep a special place in my heart. It was my first time playing a set from dusk into darkness during a festival. The setting is so important for me, to play my favourite genre, melodic techno. I was so happy to finally tell a different kind of story. I saw so many closed eyes during my set and I felt so home that I closed them too, from time to time. 
It’s a live recording but I kept the mic-track quiet until the last seconds so you can purely enjoy the sound. Special thanks to Lukas and the Friendly Connections crew for having me, to the person who did the lights (wow!!), to all artists and their music.

3000Grad festival – I’ve been to this beautiful place a few years ago. Back then I was so stunned by the love, dedication and inspiration put into that universe. Over the past three years, I remembered pieces of that time. But when I got there this year. The moment I stepped a foot into the 3000Grad-universe I felt all those emotions and impressions all over again. It felt like time hadn’t passed. What a gift!! In this world full of change, that community was able to preserve its spirit over and over again. I’m so thankful to experience that. All those hours dancing in that universe filled my heart. Thank you so much, 3000Grad-Crew! Special thanks to all the artists who are part of my set.
