This is an imperfect but very personal and over 4 years old set and an emotional throwback and soulstriptease: a journey starting with soft and dreamy house to more melodic, harder, also raw techno, ending with funky house groove. Recorded in february 2021, (I couldn't believe, where's time?!) home alone in lockdown.. I am flashed (back). After some years of first experiences, learning and practising here and then, one of my earliest records that I found somehow worthy of keeping. I called myself 'Lara andthebeat' at this time. Today I can see, yes..I've got the beat with me. 
I decided that I want to show it/her to you. Show you my path, another side of me, my very own way, my faults, my emotions, my dreams, my very very personal side and over 2:40h set that isn't flawless and that I never ever thought I would show anyone or share even ONLINE lol because it's imperfect. Luckily, I understood, I don't need to be perfect to show myself or to be loved/appreciated. Brighter days ahead!

Here we go: Midtempo Indie Dance and some goodies of my favourite genres. Big thanks to the artists for creating all these tracks.

I've been working hard on my skills the last months, had my first "bigger gigs", learned a lot and still got lot to learn. Everytime I step one step forward... 🎶  

I've also worked hard on this mix.
I've put all my heart and my facettes into this one.

As I'm getting 31 years old this month, it has a very special meaning to me.
