So, here is my new musical creation— a anti-musical sound painting depicting the tumultuous and violent birth of Music. I included earthly sounds, like thunder and rain, giving the painting an ancient, mythological feel to it. There is a slow build-up indeed. Just birth pangs. Then we hear heartbeats and signs of early life. As Music is born, we witnesses hear an onslaught of different musical types and rhythms, all being jettisoned out into the earthly environments, ready to be discovered for mankind’s artistic use. After Music is born, and the birth screams stop,  a celebratory jam session takes place, and Music plays Bass Guitar.  Music has officially arrived on Planet Earth. The jam may sound twisted and strange, but we must remember, Music was just born. SH
