Volume 16 of the LargeUp Mix Series spotlights St. Lucia's Dennery Segment sound. The style, also known as soca kuduro, is a raw and Kreyol-accented blend of Caribbean soca and Angolan kuduro music, popularized recently by tracks like Freezy's "Split In Di Middle" and Subance and Mighty's "Bad In Bum Bum."  

DJ Hyper out of Black Widow Sounds, a Philadelphia-based DJ crew originally hailing from St. Lucia (also consisting of Crazy D and Sleepy), blends the latest Dennery sounds for a mix that's sure to "mek di two twanche jiggle."
