ONA:V The Electric Circus Show Vol.58

Bio & TL:

Daniel Osthues, vinyl DJ and creator of the 674FM-based radio show “Addicted-2-Bass”, was born in Dortmund/ Germany in 1980.

At the tender age of 14, he discovered his passion for rough Detroit Techno/Electro. 
From that moment on, intense digging sessions in nearby Record shops became a weekly ritual.

The passion for new music while at the same time watching his favourite DJs spin records with incredible skill soon led to the goal to be in the same position one day.

Gaining the necessary skillset over the years, he soon found himself spinning at DJ contests and being invited to local Underground music stations as a guest DJ.

Drawing upon an expansive record collection, his sets nowadays span from classic early 90’s Cybotron informed Electro to some rare gems from the hard-hitting Berlin, Detroit & The Hague scene. 

Besides having played at Golzheim ( Düsseldorf ) and different radio stations such as Open Source Radio ( Nijmegen ), Sonus FM and 674 FM ( Cologne ), Daniel is a co-founder of District - connecting arts

Our guest for episode 94 is MaK, and he is building a party !  MaK is serving us a plate of breaks, electro & techno, with classic techno chords, oldskool club samples and energy. It's that music when you pass people dancing in the crowd, eyes closed with a smile on their face. This would be warmly welcomed in Berlin clubs for sure. MaK has been a collector of electronic music including acid, techno, experimental, post punk, weirdo house dance beats with heavy influence from Chicago and Detroit sound back since 1995. He got his first DJ gig at back in 2006 and it has been one long party since then. In 2008, MaK started DJing at House and Techno parties all over Athens, which stimulated him to organise his own nights - hosting names such as Kitsune Maison / Teenage Bad Girl / Severino / Busy P. In 2010 he became resident at the Deep Inside Athens Parties, playing alongside world class DJs such as Maayan Nidam \ Luke Howard \ Dynamodyse and many many more. In 2011 MaK begin his residency at Glastonbury Festival in the infamous Block9 stage for the NYC Downlow. He is member of the queer party collective “Happy Endings”, and host of radio shows on Threads Radio and Netil Radio in London.

Greek DIY label DYSTATIK (@dystatik), run by Athenian DJ/producer dry_feel (@dry_feel), is pleased to announce the second personal album of Dystatik's catalog and the last for the season, by Berlin-based, Moscow-bred DJ-Producer and Radiation label owner Arpatronic(@arpatronic). 
After a short pause and the exploration of the vastness of underground Berlin and the beauty of bourgeois Paris, which inspired his album, Arpatronic returns with his recognizable Electro sound.
