La Rivera, the Portland based future-folk band is peaked to release this brand new single and stop-motion video (link below)over a year in the making. By pure accident the original recording session was booked the morning after the 2016 election, which obviously ended up being an incredibly troubling day for citizens of the world. The song just so happened to be their eerily pumping -stick it to the man- style song “Boogie Man”, so the recording ended up being a healthy funnel for the uneasiness that came in the wake of the election. It was fiery session with PDX heavyweights Galen Clark and Bill Athens ( Trio Subtonic), Teddy Presberg ( PIgwar, Indubious), Jessa Campbell (LDW)  and Whityn Owen ( Fractal, SP3) .
