A 22-year-old artist based in Paris, Bwi-Bwi began his production career when he was fifteen and is already making waves across Europe with his super-fresh deconstructed style of house. Since 2012, as part of duo M&C, he has a regular slot on Rinse FR, has released solo projects on the likes of Kitsuné and is now an affiliate of Lüüd Discs where this track was originally released on vinyl. His production on ‘Insight’ is well considered and intelligent. Every chord fits neatly into place and a purveying melody gives the track a familiar warmth that feels like coming home.

Among those set up by the series was long-time friend of Defected Dennis Ferrer and South London trio Disciples, making for a powerful but perhaps unexpected transatlantic partnership. With both artists boasting impressive accolades that include platinum-selling records as well as bona fide underground anthems, they enlisted the help of acclaimed songwriter James Yuill to create ‘Whisper’.
