Lanterns Over Babylon marks the culmination of a journey that began with the raw conviction of No King But Christ and the creative breadth of 1689 Side A & B and Joy to the World. Through much refinement, the band has forged a distinct and resolute sound—an unflinching declaration of faith and warfare in song.

This record stands as a rallying cry for the saints: a call to march through the darkness of modern Babylon with the unquenchable light of the Gospel. With each lyric and chord, Lanterns Over Babylon proclaims the triumph of Christ the Sovereign King, reminding believers that we do not fight for victory but from victory already won. This song came from a place of letting fear and insecurity of where I’m at in life rule my day-to-days. It’s so crippling guys… like you can’t move forward when you’re in that headspace.
