OVERVIEW

LA Rootchestra is a music collective of American-Colombian origins heavily influenced by electronic sounds from house to techno fused with traditional rhythms from different regions of the world. Its format includes a live DJ / drummer, percussionist and visuals which may be backed by an MC or a rootsie melodic instrument. 

"Buen Fuego" (Great Fire), the first single that brings this project to life, is an example of the sound of the LA Rootchestra and its European, Anglo-Saxon and Latin influences. 

Their first full work, expected early June 2014, includes native Colombian rhythms highlighted with african/colombian vocals and traditional melodies that portray an atmosphere of festivity and celebration through electronic music.

If you like real drums, tons of percussion, synths and tribal sounds, LA Rootchestra will make you move from head to bottom.

LA Rootchestra es un colectivo musical de origen colombo americano con gran influencia de sonidos electrónicos entre house y techno fusionados con ritmos tradicionales de diferentes regiones del mundo. Su formato en vivo incluye un DJ/baterista, percusionista e imágenes visuales que a su vez pueden estar acompañados de un MC o instrumento melódico autóctono.

"Buen Fuego", primer sencillo que da inicio a este proyecto, es una muestra del sonido puro de LA Rootchestra y sus influencias europeas, anglosajonas y latinas.

Para su primer trabajo, esperado para comienzos de Junio del 2014, se han incluido ritmos nativos colombianos recalcados con voces negras y melodías folclóricas que a su vez proyectan un ambiente de fiesta y celebración a través de la electrónica.

Si los sonidos fuertes de la batería, cantidades de percusión, sintetizadores y sonidos tribales, LA Rootchestra lo hará bailar de arriba a abajo.
