Similarly, the Godfather of Techno Soul Eddie Fowlkes continues to innovate with genre-defying releases like the four-track ‘AHYEE EP’ on Classic Music Company, asserting his position as an industry titan. The two artist’s styles come together for ‘Do It’, an unabashed outing of house excellence; Fowlkes’ unmatched talent for vocal manipulation is on full display, as the Dames’ infectious personality and feel-good-spirit is brought to the fore at every turn supported by an instantly arresting beat built for the underground. Additionally, the release includes a fantastical remix from multi-disciplinary artist Zach Witness. The Dallas-born and Paris-based artist has made a name for himself through his offbeat, homegrown style, producing Erykah Badu’s album and working with André 3000, Frank Ocean and Nile Rodgers; now he lends his unique and bombastic vision to ‘Do It’, in true Zach Witness style.
