Nave - Disco Voador

For several years I have been thinking (and talking) about doing a freakbeat/surf rock style set of songs as a homage to the 60's sound. I got fascinated with the sound several years ago and did a bit of research on the acts and music that came from this genre. It influenced me to grab my guitars and try something similar. I was presented with the gift of the entire Beatles collection several years ago and the early music was also a push to try something nostalgic. This is the first attempt. While it's not exactly a departure from my breakbeat sound, this is definitely different than what I'm used to putting out.  There are several guitar tracks layered with some classic organ and a heavy backbeat. It's quite simple, but fun. The title is from the ongoing theme which is based around skateboarding  updated from surf music.
