Re*Issued version with Bass and Mandolin added. This song was written summer of Covid 19. Spent 6 mos out of work and wrote about a dozen songs. The Intro  E,G,D,A Inspired the Cord Run. Alley Cat lyrics came after mindless viewing of Face Book pics of Freddie the Cat!!!

Wrote this at the beginning of the Russian Invasion of Ukraine when the threat of Nuclear War seemed a Possibility. Good thing our scientists are looking for other inhabitable planets. Dang that Einstein Anyway!!

I had this Interesting Guitar Idea and added some drum track to It.  Built Song off the Line - If you Take One from Me, I'll Rip you in Two. Then I added - I Don't Like Thieves and I Don't Like to Lose.

Don't Like Thieves

I wrote this song in my head while driving across Rt 70 from Wash Pa to Greensburg Pa. The Drive actually sucked but I made the Best of it and jotted down the whole thing when I got there. Working in the Rain

I remember writing this on a Saturday morning after waking up to a Nose Bleed. I think the Movie we watched the Night before had something to do with the dark nature of this song. Later the next day I sat down with the guitar and finished what I thought would be the song, but I made some last minute revisions while recording this track on YouTube. I never played this song out or ever played it again. Something just clicked right at Midnight on a Sunday.

Bleed

I wrote this Guitar piece first as an Instrumental and the Idea of Baby I got You was developed as I played. a Few days later I wrote the versus and finished the Song using most of the original Song. There is still something profound with the First Recording even though its mostly an Instrumental.

A friend of mine was laughing and saying I sound better after I had a shot of Whiskey! So a Shot Showed Up!! Well I laughed and said I Need a Double Shot!! Thanks to Jody Engel who produced these awesome backing tracks. Some say this was our best song together. Double Shot of Whiskey made it originally on D.I.Y. by L.D. Songs and was released as a single in 2014. I re-did the vocals utilizing new technologies in my studio.
