LB Mixes 01 - Fall 2021

'Off The Cuff" is a mix series I've created to challenge my mixing skills and music collection. 

Each mix is a done without any pre-planning, no sync, one attempt, and is curated using playlists that only include music downloaded in the past 2-3 months, with no genre separation. 

Mixing in key without using a software program to assist you is a key skill that I believe all DJ's must learn in order to be successful. I don't produce yet, so I feel like I would be doing DJ's an injustice by not taking the right approach to mixing. 

We live in a technology advanced world now and anyone can pose as a DJ. My goal with this series is to improve my skills and share my music taste with those who will listen.
