One day whilst working on ITV's period drama Mr. Selfridge. I was sitting at my desk trying to think of tasks to do as it was a slow day, which hardly happens while working as a production runner. I started to brainstorm ideas for a new independent project to work on, during this time I was constantly listening to the latest EP by R&B singer Sevyn Streeter 'Shoulda Been There Part 1' In the EP there are few talking segments and there was one line she said in the track Interlude (A Bad Situation) that she stayed in a bad situation with her ex boyfriend because she thought she could change him. This line made think, why do women think they can change their boyfriend? so I started to brainstorm several questions to ask my friends to make a web series starring a few guys which will follow the ups and downs of their relationships but then I thought this would work better as a documentary and that's when my podcast series was created.

What Do Guys Think of Relationships is a documentary which focuses on 10 guys giving their honest thoughts and opinions of what they think of relationships from a few questions.

What Do Guys Think of Relationships was created to give a different perception of what men want out of a relationship. There is a general of view of a man that he is a 'player' or when a guy meets a girl, all he wants sex. This documentary is to show a different side of men and find out what they really want out of a relationship.

What Do Women Think of Relationships is a documentary which focuses on 8 women giving their honest thoughts and opinions on what they think of relationships from several questions.

What Do Women Think of Relationships was created to give a different perception of what women want out of a relationship. When men think of women, their initial thought is that they want to have a husband have kids, but that might not always be true. This documentary is to show a different side of women and to find out what they really want out of a relationship.

What Do Gay Men & Lesbian Think of Relationships is a documentary which focuses on 4 Gay Men and 1 Lesbian Woman giving their honest thoughts and opinions on what they think of relationships from several questions. What Do Gay Men & Lesbian Women Think of Relationships was created to give a different perception of what Gay Men and lesbian want out of a relationship, some may argue that there is a general view that Gay Men are not faithful and that being in a Lesbian relationship is easier than being in a relationship with a straight man. This documentary is to show a different side of Gay Men and Lesbian Women and to find out what they really want out of a relationship.

Suspicions

So basically today's podcast talked about how us women should handle our partner's emotions when we have no idea how to handle our own. I talk about how it important before going into a relationship that we manage our own emotions and find a healthy balance so that in turn we can then be helpful for our partners.  I think women are emotional drive in most cases and as a lesbian I do know this, so if I can find a balance within myself, it will help to deal with my partner's emotions as well and make things easier on the both of us and hopefully it will make her more comfortable being emotional around me and vice versa.
