So the back story here--Bart, who was the plantation's overseer's son, due to a couple of events leaves America with his best friend, who was a slave on the plantation.  in an abridged version, they end up in Australia.  Bart meets Katy, an Irish girl, they fall madly in love and after 6 years decide to get married, raise a family, etc.  Katy dies.  Since the funeral, Bart goes to Katy's graves side daily and has these talks with her, here is a little clip from one of those visits--yes I know my Irish accent has a bit to be desired.

While Bart was on the mend in Australia,  from a shark attack, while lost at sea, he meets Katy, his nurse.  They fall madly in love and spend the next several years together building the business, Sterling Mines, along with Jerry and Reiner.  Katy suddenly dies, way too young.  Bart was lost without her.  This is a piece from one of his daily graveside visits and chats.
