[WDMFREE 005] Sabrina Mue & Lars Moston - Wild Safari (Rework)

Clutchy Hopkins is quite the enigma. Apparently only a handful of people in the world know his true face. Some claim he is the “secret identity” of one (or many) DJs…speculation has included Madlib, DJ Shadow, Cut Chemist, Money Mark, Danger Mouse, Shawn Lee, and others.
Lars Moston's remix of "Love Of A Woman" offers few clues as to who Clutchy really is. It does, however, feature big 808 basses and dubby delays to keep you grooving while you ponder this mystery.

This is a tribute to one of my favourite Prodigy tunes, with those classic rave chords that first made me fall in love with the band when I was just a kid.
I sampled an interview with the late Keith Flint, where he talked about what it felt like to go be part of the early rave movement.

The Prodigy - Skylined (Lars Moston's Really Special Rework)

British-German DJ and producer Lars Moston from Berlin runs Outergalactic Music and also releases on some of the world's most influential House Music labels such as Katermukke, Kittball and Nervous Records. He has collaborated with Boris Dlugosch, Teenage Mutants, Juliet Sikora, and Dirty Doering among others and remixed the likes of grammy winner Purple Disco Machine, Claptone, Mike Mago, Si Begg and Moonbootica to name just a few. 
As a DJ Lars has raised roofs at world famous venues such as Watergate Berllin, Pacha Ibiza, Printworks London and festivals like Fusion and Tomorrowland with his trademark positive sound. Crafting a highly energetic mix full of little suprises and nods to his personal musical history, taking crowds on a journey full of twists and turns that he himself discovers in the moment, these are sources of tangible enjoyment for him. And it shows.
