My siblings (and me) have had a rough year. This piece is meant to be an embrace from a distance. For them, and all others out there, grieving or in pain.

Soundtrack for "Vlissinger Michiel", a documentary film by Riko 't Gilde. 
The brief was: color the scenes in with broad, modest strokes, preferably piano. Emotions: caring, tender, observing, melancholic, warm. A slight touch of humour in the stairs scene. Bring out the beauty and atmosphere of the images and the character of the main character.
