of his very own label,
Vash Recordings. Known for his signature blend of deep, soulful house and emotive grooves,
Larse takes the next step in his musical journey by creating a platform for artistic freedom and
carefully curated releases.
The label’s debut single sets the tone with a special collaboration: a captivating track
featuring London-based singer Obi Franky. Her soulful vocals pair effortlessly with Larse’s
warm and atmospheric production, offering a powerful glimpse into the sonic identity of Vash
Recordings.
With this new imprint, Larse aims to release music that reflects his personal vision –
independent, timeless, and globally inspired. Vash Recordings will serve as a home not only
for Larse’s own work but also for selected collaborations and projects that align with his

We are absolutely thrilled to present Larse’s first EP on SUOL. This man from Dortmund has a long list of fantastic releases to his name, with originals and remixes on great labels such as DFA, Defected and Eskimo, to name just a few, as well as Beatport number ones, a BBC “Essential Tune”, one of the most influential German club music radio shows to date, a gold record, you name it… needless to say we are very proud to welcome this outstanding producer to our little SUOL family.

Larse’s trademark style is eclectic, smooth and soulful yet very danceable, which is just the way we like it here at SUOL, and this EP is no exception.

We kick things off with “Wanna Be Like You” featuring Lisa Shaw on vocals. The touching lyrics combined with Lisa’s beautiful voice perfectly complement the track with its lush harmonic synths and dreamy delays on top of a solid foundation of crisp kicks, hovering hi-hats and drawn out bass notes that will give you goose bumps.

Shaboom's If You Need Me was originally released in 1997. It features a deeply moving vocal performance from Disco House Musics Prima Diva Taka Boom, and was written and produced by Mark Blakkat Bell. In the summer of 2011, three of Shaboom Records favourite young German Producer/ remixers got a chance to get their teeth into the multitracks, and these are the stunning results. The Manuel Tur Vocal mix, is the follow up to his epic remixes of Totally from 2010. He takes a driving Afro style techy groove and blends it into a Deep Soulful Tech House Monster. Definitely peak time, big floor, and absolutely another classic! The Langenberg Remix is quite simply sublime. Its hints of old school Latin influenced Chicago House; tastefully fuse with the soulful vocals. The mix gently builds and develops into a full on anthemic crescendo! Not a dry eye in the house! Larse Remix is a mid tempo, deeply hypnotic Disco Funk groover that invites you to come get some! Its a relentless slab of delicious sound that just builds and builds and doesnt let up. Very sexy and intense, this will heat up any dance floor, a must for lovers of that Slo Mo sound!

Radio, landing him a 15-year gig co-hosting "1LIVE Klubbing." This
