Normally, podcasts are easy to do and being motivated, one goes to work in exciting anticipation to let the latest delicacies and accumulated "podcast records" shine.
At 3hrs 33min though, the situation is different. We rummaged deep in the record crate, full of enthusiasm knowing exactly what was being played. Dissatisfied with the result and a musical existential crisis not far away, we reflected and rethought the essence of our music: who are we and what do we want anyway? With detective acumen, we conducted acquisitions for weeks and dove into old and new realms in search of the undefinable. Back to the roots...

It's done. One of the most powerful mixes we've had the pleasure to record so far is in the can. 

We are proud to present our Flow Mix, which is a cross section of our last three years of downtempo with a pinch of reminiscence. On board are many of our own productions, which we are finally proud to show the world in one big mix. 
Much of the style of Dj mixes we represent today may not be immediately recognisable in it. But we still keep familiar principles, because the essence is always the same: the emotion, the smirk and of course grooves for days!
The journey starts quietly and with deep sound and gains momentum as it goes on. 
It ends as it begins: with guitars. The full circle.

Madd Rod is an electronic music rebel whose passion for his craft stems from an inextinguishable curiosity and an affair with the cultural diversity around him. 

Born and raised in Lisbon, he was from a young age influenced by the blend of traditional and modern elements he found within the city.

In this mix, he confronts the need to tame ambiguous poles of his persona: allowing the alter ego and the man to coexist and engage together in a (re)visit to the past — through the future. 

Committed to the desire to break all rules, Madd Rod takes the role of the narrator, turning the obscure and the wild into parts of an urban myth.

💿 Wer schläft ist klar im Vorteil 💿

✍️ Schlaf ist für den menschlichen Organismus ebenso essentiell wie Sauerstoff, Wasser oder Nahrung. Im Schlaf kann sich der Körper regenerieren und die Zellen erneuern, während der Geist zur Ruhe kommt. Es wird empfohlen, täglich mindestens 7-8 Stunden zu schlafen. Zu wenig Schlaf führt zu Müdigkeit und Erschöpfung, zu viel ebenso. 
Schlaf trägt dazu bei, dass wir jung, vital, kraftvoll und schön bleiben. Keine Creme oder Tinktur der Welt kann auch nur annähernd die positiven Effekte eines gesunden Schlafs nachahmen oder ausgleichen. Insbesondere die Arbeit mit Computern und Smartphones kann unsere Schlafqualität beeinträchtigen. Daher ist es ratsam, abends lieber auf Entspannungstechniken wie Lesen, Yoga oder Meditation zurückzugreifen. Wenn der Alltag und das Leben einmal wieder dazwischenfunken, kann auch das natürliche Schlafhormon Melatonin supplementiert werden. Dieses Hormon wird am Abend und bei Dunkelheit ausgeschüttet und fördert einen langen, tiefen und erholsamen Schlaf.

🎵 Heute haben wir Lisa Filou im KataHaifisch Podcast zu Gast. Bei dem Set handelt es sich um ein Live Recording vom Kave Open Air, veranstaltet am 02.06 vom Kave Collective Milano.
2013 entdeckte Lisa während ihres Auslandsaufenthaltes in Paris ihre Leidenschaft für elektronische Musik. Ihre Neugierde und ihr Erlebnishunger führten sie letztendlich nach Berlin. Dort traf sie 2018 auf ihr Musik- und Künstlerkollektiv Ram Schakl. Seitdem hat Lisa Filou eine steile Karriere hingelegt. Sie spielt in den renommiertesten Clubs und auf Festivals in ganz Deutschland sowie international, produziert ihre eigene Musik und ist Bestandteil des DJ-Duos ELIXIR.
Ihren Sound beschreibt sie als farbenfroh und hypnotisch. Eine stimmungsvolle Mischung aus Melodic-House und Dark-Disco. Charakteristisch sind melodische Breaks und explosive Drops.

Welcome back to the Magician On Duty Journey Series!

On this edition we welcome Dominik Steffan (@dominiksteffan)

From an early age, Dominik Steffan was captivated by music, deeply moved by its enchanting power. With unwavering support from his family and friends, he embarked on various projects and began learning instruments such as the E-Bass and synthesizer. 

Even before joining a band and playing his first gigs, he had a fervent passion for collecting diverse genres of music, with electronic music occupying a significant part of his collection, a passion that still burns brightly. The positive feedback he received for the carefully curated playlists he prepared for different gatherings sowed the seeds of smoothly blending tracks together and creating a harmonious atmosphere.

During his younger years, he played at local events, much like most aspiring DJs starting out. However, as other aspects of life demanded attention, DJing gradually took a backseat and eventually came to a halt. After spending nearly two years in a spiritual journey of self-discovery, exploring new horizons and embracing different experiences, Dominik found himself in Leipzig, where he once again reconnected with his passion for creating music. 

It was during this time that he rediscovered fulfillment and felt an overwhelming urge to share his creations with the people around him.
His sets always seek to harmonize with the atmosphere, aiming to cultivate flow and connection on the dance floor.

Right now he’s about creating a new project together with close friends named: inner truth to share that love for music with others.
