The name Carnaval Sessions comes from a personal journey inspired by Haruki Murakami’s visit to Copenhagen, where he read the story Carnaval from First Person Singular. This sparked a deeper connection, leading me to explore Schumann’s Carnaval, performed by Rubinstein, as mentioned in the story. Just like how Murakami’s tale weaves together music and introspection, this show delves into the mysteries that music uncovers. Through sound, we transcend the everyday and enter a world where our dreams, thoughts, and fantasies come to life.

Well, here we are : the fortieth volume of my Only For Those Who Know What Is Real House Music session.

I wanted to celebrate this fortieth session in a different way so I called on my two friends Deepsketters, AgentValjean and 324AM to create a very beautiful set for me. I selected for this the best of the 39 previous sessions with only big DeepHouse classics for me.

Thank you, friends, you made the perfect session for me to celebrate this fortieth issue and I hope that you, dear listeners, will enjoy this very beautiful set.

And now for something completely different...Hey Gang,as always I hope this reaches you well..I'm super happy to bring you the latest episode of The D3EP Lounge..this one is "Session 83" and is a special Detroit Techno/Acid journey, which I've called "Retracing Steps" and  features tracks going way back to 88'/89'. Don't expect the normal soulful, melodic vibes with this one...but one thing that will always remain consistent is that it will always be DEEEEEEP!! This retrospective look over the last 37 years, gave me a chance to reminisce on some of the tracks that I started my DJing career with, and became a huge influence on my journey through music. I hope some of you hear a track or two that will take you back to a certain time or place...We will be back to the normal format on the next show...but for now, enjoy the ride..Peace N' Luv Xx
