That was the challenge Mobilee head Anja Schneider set for herself on her recent addition to the legendary BBC radio program, and she delivered with the help of a debut from Maya Jane Coles, a classics from Underground Resistance, and an airing of her own latest, "Jimmy," which, with it's propelling conga loop and haunting organ climax, made for one of the most memorable moments of the two hour session. This achievement will be no surprise to anyone familiar with Schneider's history as a producer, club DJ and respected radio host, with her own Dance Under The Blue Moon program filling the Berlin airwaves since almost 15 years. And while she has been teasing us with "Jimmy" since July (when it surfaced on her mix for John Digweed's Transitions podcast), the time as finally come for it appear in it's complete form, released on vinyl and digital as Mobilee141. On the b-side is "Lovetube Thinking," a previously unaired acid house cut that offers its own spine-tingling peak thanks to the vocals of Patrick Heym, the latest singer in a long line of collaborators Anja has called upon to give her music that extra dance floor magic. It makes for a magnificent one-two punch of a release that DJs can now use in their own essential sessions.

Having laid strong musical foundations with early releases on Supdub, including debut album ‘Breakthrough’, Rostock’s Carlo Ruetz enjoyed another career defining moment with the 2014 release of ‘Controlled By Robots’. A label debut that lead to his inclusion as one of the new generation of Richie Hawtin’s Minus artists. 

Fast forward to 2016 and Carlo has spread the love further, featuring his music on the likes of KD Raw, Deeperfect, Trapez and most recently Elevate. He closes out the year with his SCI+TEC debut, the impressive double-header of Instinct / Distorted Perception. 

The disconcerting darkness of Instinct with it’s purring bassline and waves of echoing synth create an electrically charged calm-before-the-storm atmosphere. Its tempestuous twin, Distorted Perception, lulls us with its initial hypnotic beats, before finishing with a flourish of metallic strikes that stir the senses.

Over the last three months Maceo Plex has taken the sound of the Mutant series on tour across North and South America. Playing to over 30,000 fans at dedicated one-off shows from Canada to Chile, this warped but welcome sound has connected us all. Inspired by afterhours underground sessions yet full of life and energy, these seven songs resonate with the global techno community and have become a feature on the many Maceo Plex fan groups scouring social media for video clips of new music and news.

Hailing from the Berlin Techno scene, Lars Wickinger is a mighty name in Techno even if not splattered across the blogs in flashing lights.
In the end of the 90s he made his first contact with the Techno Sound. 
He got hold of his first electronic equipment and so, while still playing in bands, he did more and more programming of his own.
Since 2006 he also produces minimal style techno with Dj Markus Schatz under the name of Schatz & Wickinger. Releases on EKRecords and Opossum Rec. from Berlin comes out.
As the next obvious thing to do Lars Wickinger started producing solo-tracks.
In 2006, there were two successful releases on Opossum Rec. and Traumschallplatten/Cologne.

2007/08 coming releases as Lars Wickinger on labels such as Liebe*Detail, Suchtreflex, Killa Beat Rec., Living Records, Tanzbar Rec., Curle Rec. and Flash Rec. etc. will strengthen his reputation as a producer and successful live act and Dj.
2009 further great publication on Haseland Magnet Schallplatten, Kachelfunk Records, Tanzbar, Living, KillA Beat Records etc. (See Discography) follow.

2010 "Minimal Of The Month" with the EP "Skeleton Funk" on Tanzbar Records Germany.
Other publications in 2010: Frequenza Rec (Italy), roundabout "Vinyl Only!" (Germany), ENTER (Germany), and rabbit Killa Beat Country various remixes.

In 2011 the successful establishment of his own label "So What Music" Vinyl and Digital.
SWM001 – "Sushi & Sex" lands in various well-known DJ's playlists!

2012 Starts his label "So What Music" right through! , So What Music SWM002 - "Say Yes To Another Excess" lands in the Beatport Minimal charts and various other Sale and DJ charts.
