born on January 7th 1986 in Bowling Green Kentucky. With his dad in and out of his life, it was up to his young mother, Maria Jackson to raise him. Watching as his mother struggled to make it,  was forced to grow up at an early age and do right by his Mom and his three younger siblings. As the years passed and the struggle became harder, A.T.L.A.S learned early on that the one thing he could always count on was music. Music instantly became therapy to him and in the eighth grade he began writing his own verses to all of his favorite artist’s tracks. At the time, A.T.L.A.S was greatly influenced by Lil Wayne, the hot boys, DMX, Nas and several others. Today you can find Mario listening to Common, Kendrick Lamar, Ab Soul, Don Trip, and Ace Hood. Being a little older and having some years on him, A.T.L.A.S has depth and real shit going on in his music. A.T.L.A.S released his first mixtape, The Arrival, the end of last year and is currently working on his second, titled “Philosophical Savage,” dropping May of 2014. Recognizing how much music helped him to make it through his toughest times, he would love for his music to do the same to other kids going through it. A.T.L.A.S knows how hard it is to break out into the industry, but taking care of his son and making sure his family never has to worry again is all the motivation he needs.
