Over the last 2 weeks in my holiday boredom I've worked on recording all the different sections of The Beach Boys Heroes and Villains seperately(and other Smile tracks in the meantime) and managed to edit them together to form a cool mini rock-opera type thing. It's just about double the length of the original and I've added many different sections in. I hope you enjoy it!

Heroes And Villains (Beach Boys) - Re-Invention - Stereo Mix Test

This is my cover of You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin' complete with my own wall of sound arrangement. The wall of sound 'sound' took an extensive amount of experimenting and listening to get right and I haven't completely got it perfect yet. I sing all the vocal parts and play all instruments except for various horn and string parts (done with MIDI).

You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin' (Phil Spector/Righteous Brothers) - Cover

This is a track I composed and have been working on at the moment which I haven't yet written lyrics for. I've produced it in an intense Phil Spector 'Wall of Sound' fashion using various different sounds and textures as an experiment to see what I could come up with. I was really happy with the result! All of the instruments are performed and arranged by me. I hope you enjoy it :)

Untitled Backing Track (WIP) - Original Composition

This is a experimental composition of mine that I wrote a little while ago and recently finished mixing. It is essentially a bit of soundscape going through various different movements. I attempted to capture the feelings of a Holiday, filled with joy and emptiness longing to return to where you once were.

Lonely Holiday (Original Composition)

This is my brand new original song "Through The Stars". I have worked extensively on this song throughout the year and it's gone through a few different stages. This essentially is my final arrangement which I have recorded over the last week. It is written from the perspective of a young person traveling through space and the feelings and emotions they go through on the journey and when they finally return home to a familiar but different place.
I recorded and produced the track myself in my Home Studio over the last week. All Instruments and Vocals are performed by Me.

It's quite a relaxed tune basically about the time of Falling asleep and the dreams you can encounter. I've written the arrangement including a Harp, Celeste, Nylon Guitar with some Bass and Electric Piano.
