Fragments is a mixtape of ideas that were never finished to a typical song structure. This is partly due to Parks Department’s inability to finish the task at hand, but also their ambitions for experimentation and trial and error. Featuring heavy use of processed live instrumentation, iPhone recordings and hard rubbish finds, the sound focuses on the more eclectic side of electronic music, whilst still upholding a pop mentality and danceable nature.
