This track ranked 18th out of 84 entries. As I threw together the second half at the last minute and ended with a lazy loop + fadeout, I'm happy with this!

This track ranked 9th out of 84 entries. I never expected to end up in the top 10 out of so many talented entrants, so I'm very pleased with this!

Rubberwave

My first successful attempt at making algorithmically generated music.

The basic algorithm: maintain a table of probabilities that each note will be played. At each step, choose a note according to the table; then increase the probabilities of that note and the notes 2, 5, and 7 semitones higher, and decrease the others.

Made from leftover sounds, Waveform's 4OSC synthesizer, and some sine waves.

Sounds generated using personal recordings, a few samples, Audacity, Supercollider, Pure Data, and the "4OSC" synthesizer built into Tracktion Waveform 12.

chocokels played the flute on Track 5.

Tracks 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6 were assembled in Waveform. Tracks 5 and 7 were mostly assembled in Pure Data, although the flute part in Track 5 was added in Waveform.
