It's been a happy spectacle watching our friends at Lobster Theremin grow into the pink-bellied beast we see before us today. Their following has grown almost as quickly as their roster, snowballing via a release schedule that's as strong as it is frequent: a consistently welcome serve-up of Motor City-inspired house, dreamscape acid and narcotic techno. 

Late last year, Camp Lobster drilled deeper into the spectrum with Mörk, the label's darkling sub-imprint and home to its gloomiest techno. This week they inaugurate a new imprint, Distant Hawaii – a summer off-shoot for beach-coasting sunshine house. And its first release is exactly that: a wonderfully deep debut for Manchester man Hidden Spheres. 'Waiting' is our pick of the litter: a glowing thumper that's all butter-melt Rhodes lines, ecstatic vocal whoops, and tons of playful percussion. The perfect summer jam, basically – coming to a terrace near you very soon.

Today's Premiere is by Vancouver based producer Jesse Bru. Released through French imprint Egoplanet, his latest offering, the "Roach Fingers" EP, features four tracks of raw yet elaborate house music. Take the title track here : a clever use of samples, solid beats, syncopated Rhodes parts, the Canadian producer distils proper late night warehouse groove through your ears and body. The vinyl is out just in time for Christmas, get it while you can, this will definitely grow on you!

It's all about the sax! It's been one year since we started the project Play With Us. After several outcomes in early 2013, we are now proud to announce the 15th release. "Gone Fishing" is a soulful deep-house track with an awesome sax line, that makes you dream on the dancefloor or a sandy beach in miami. Great remixes by Emil Berliner and Lars Moston make it hard to pick a favourite from this package.
