My first single “Man tevis trūka” / “I’ve Missed You” from the upcoming album is out now on all major streaming platforms. Some of you know it has taken few years to finally release it, and it feels strange to let it go in some way.

The words are by Mareks Ruskuls whose poem and drawing inspired me to write this song in the late 2020. It metaphorically describes the feeling of missing someone to being a submarine and the other person - their only porthole that fills them with fresh air.

Man tevis trūka

I am very happy to share with you my second single "Dzimstot". The music is written by me and the words are by pastor Krists Kalniņš. His book of poems “Niekkalbīša dzejoļu grāmatiņa” has been a very special birthday gift to me. 5 of his poems (including this one) I have made into songs from my upcoming album. I am very grateful to Krists for letting me use his beautiful and inspiring poems and share them with you all very soon.

Lāsma is a singer-songwriter born and raised in Riga, Latvia. Schooled in classical and choral music, her form of expression is inspired greatly by modern Latvian poetry, its traditional Folksong Dainas and connection with nature and spirituality. 

Her first EP “High Healings” was released in 2017 with the composer, multi-instrumentalist and producer Roberto Nicchitta.

Fast forward to April 2024, Lāsma is releasing her first single "Man tevis trūka" from the upcoming album “Acīm neredzamais”.
