ABOUT A HERO – Main Theme

Music from short film "PERIOD." by director Emilie Thalund.
Winner of the "Yound Directors Award" in Cannes, 2018.

The movie is a call to debate about menstruation and social taboos about the subject. I tried to give the music a vintage feel of French film noir and European crime movies of the 60's to emphasize the visual outlook as well as the absurdity of something so natural as the female period being a taboo in society.

I'm a Copenhagen-based film composer, producer, singer/songwriter and member of the band Den Fjerde Væg for which I write and sing.
