#23 The Nairobi Connect - TKR Takeover - 26TH July 2022

This is the first episode of my new mix series 'The Lock In with LASTA' showing the kind of music that I play in the club and festival settings. 
I recorded this set from my livestream for Africa Nouveau Festival on 25th April 2020. This is the second half of the set, I was in my garden, the weather was perfect and I felt my listeners needed some warmth during 'Lockdown'! 
The mix is a combination of African and Latin edits full of percussion and uplifting vocals to keep your hips swaying and your face smiling!

As a DJ, LASTA’s sets are a journey through House Music and Disco both old school and fresh, infusing Live Vocals, embracing syncopated rhythms, layering tracks and deep tropical rhythms to keep you moving. Whilst his Backyard Bass sets demonstrate a deep love for Gengetone, Dancehall, Garage and Jungle.
