Sitting in one of their weekly steam bath sessions, the two friends, DJs and studio collaborators came to the conclusion that instead of starting a label themselves, they should team up with an established imprint and focus on what they really like - making tracks and discovering great new music from their friends (hence Brothers & Sisters).

Refusing to be limited by genre, the two Copenhagen residents will be taking us on a journey all over the place - as evidenced with the first EP by their very own project: The Mansisters.

Over his twenty year The Hacker has traversed a spread of styles, from frosted electro to raging techno slammers. Midnight Bliss shows another side of this multitalented artist. Warmth flows from the title piece. Clean rhythm patterns are spiked by synthlines as liquid melodies are swirled into a carefree cocktail that simply radiates.  “Heavy Duty Disco” takes over the flip and runs headlong into speakers. The Hacker builds a track of generous proportions. Textured keys weave through columns of toms and snapping beats before bruising basslines descend for a late night encounter of formidable intent. Los Fugazzi, the Mexican duo revelation of 2017 makes its first delivery in Playground Records with Vongold as guest voice for an explosive EP. For the last track of the Ep Pardon Moi enter in scene remixing Delete. The Germans, that made the real retro sound of the 80s back to the dancefloors, does not stop making good tracks and this is not the exception. Transforming the voices with synthesizers that make collide the square waves of pulse width modulations with the incisive snares and adding tones to a strident bass, makes the track impossible of not to dance when you listen it.

My extended edit of Crazy Gang's 'Every Sunday' as released on Flexx in 2006.
Taken from the original masters provided by Claudio Simonetti. It took Claudio several months to find the tapes and i remember we were so disappointed when we finally got our hands on the digital transfer. It sounded like the whole thing was recorded in Claudio's bathroom. Luckily Flemming Dalum hooked us up with Gert Nygaard who did a great job restorating the audio.
