Hollow River is a Canadian Pop-Punk-Rapper whose hybrid sound blends fast, upbeat guitars and rhythm sections with lyrics that are dripping with vivid imagery. 

His new single ‘Known To Lie’ is a fun tune with a fast paced energy that’s just in time for summer. 

HR stared his music career interning at the legendary Grant Avenue Studio in Hamilton (Daniel Lanois/Gordon Lightfoot/John Cage) before moving to Boston to attend Berklee College of Music, where he currently lives working towards a double major in Music Production and Engineering/Songwriting respectively with the opportunities to learn under industry professionals like Leanne Ungar (Leonard Cohen/Temptations). 

Time not spent studying revolve around his craft, including freelance producing/mixing work with local artists coupled with songwriting/arranging consulting. He also spends nights working as a production assistant at local studio Revival House Records under mentor Pat Hanlin. 

HR acts as the live recording engineer for the Lizard Lounge Open Mic, an important weekly community event run by longtime Boston staple and Berklee Songwriting professor George Woods.

Last Second Dropout (LSD): A band that seamlessly blends pop, rock, and rap, Last Second Dropout combines their love for a nostalgic aesthetic with a modern edge. Produced by GGGarth Richardson—known for his work with Rage Against the Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Taylor Swift—LSD channels raw emotion and energy into every track.

The band is fronted by Mark McDonald, a Boston-based Canadian dual citizen, whose vision drives their sound and message. The rest of the lineup—LJ on drums, Sophia on keys, and Brad on bass—met Mark while studying at Berklee College of Music. The name "Last Second Dropout" is an inside joke referencing their shared experiences at Berklee.

Their upcoming EP includes the first single, "It's OK," the introspective "Apathy," and an LSD version of Amy Winehouse's "Valerie." With this release, the band showcases their ability to honor their influences while creating something uniquely their own.
