I could hear the difference with Stereo sound on my headphones, BUT not with 5.1 speaker system

Whoever responsible for that decision is pretty dumb.

Oh my god I havnt played skyrim in years and the moment the vanilla sound went up my heart started beating noticably faster and i litterally rocked back hard, then the se sound went up i was able to calm myself from the excitement of the original.

All I can tell from this is that the sword sound in the second clip is just different, not even the same sound at all

Oh, that's terrible.  I can clearly hear the compression artifacts all over the place in the second.
