i made this album as a way to find peace amidst the chaos often found in everyday life. i don’t want this to detract at all from the black lives matter movement, so as a small way to combat the gross racial injustice happening, all the revenue from my music this month will be donated to the black visions collective, and i will try to match it as best i can. i hope you can find something among this work to ease your mind a little during this time.

still my mind I'm trying - I'm struggling with a breakup
still I might not fight it- I'm willing to let the feelings take over me
if I say otherwise then maybe it's gotta be that way - I was describing someone's point of view
still you fantasize about me when I'm away- this is directed towards me about that person

the whole chorus is asking the person missing to leave my thoughts. "oh won't you kill my dreams of maybes" - I dont want hope.
I feel hazy represents my mania. I was manic when I wrote this and was hospitalized a week later. I'm so happy I got this out before my mind took over me.

ooooo ahhh I I I I feel hazy... 100% manic chorus

I'm stay where I'm at but I'd take you right back out of habit- I still loved him
broke bones in my chest- I had literally fractured two ribs
sore throat, cigarettes out of habit - I always craved cigarettes when I was manic (common)

the outro: if I want to feel something, Ive gotta perform for you. I gotta perform for you baby if we're going to feel something- this sort of came to life because this is the only song with a music video I ever made. He and I have since made up around the time it was produced with this song. Happy ending ♡

I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and put on medication, this was the last song I wrote before treatment. Hazy is my 8th song.
