LatchKey, Born Kevin E.M. Martin, is a hip-hop and R&B songwriter and recording artist hailing from Shaker Heights, OH. LatchKey's stage name is a nod to his original inspiration for writing: as a latchkey kid, often home alone with nobody to talk to, he took pen to paper from an early age as a medium of self-expression. LatchKey's vocal versatility is evident in his songs, as he seamlessly transitions from the wordplay of uptempo verses into soulful, ear-catching hooks.
