I Don't Know How (Video)

I was recently invited to perform a brand new set with a singing #teslacoil. Together with a very good friend of mine, we wrote an original story to which I later wrote music. My idea was to use a 4-track tape recorder for ambient backgrounds, beats from the Teenage Engineering OP-Z and some backgrounds from iPad Samplr. The Tesla Coil was sequenced by the OP-Z.

OP-Z and Fostex X18. Ambient track pre-recorded to tape tracks 1 and 2 (iPad Borderlands, OPZ, guitar via Strymon Iridium and BlueSky). OPZ recorded to stereo to tape, tracks 3 and 4.

The kick's too hot: it was my first time recording beats to tape.
