Edoardo Barbi or GLEDD is an Italian DJ, producer, and label head whose music fuses disco, funk, soul, afro and latin grooves into warm, organic house. With deep family roots in music - his grandfather was a jazz musician - GLEDD grew up surrounded by soul, rock, and electronic sounds that shaped his eclectic style. After spending several years in Mexico City, where he launched the Makonga party series, he returned to Europe, continuing to expand his global vision. He is the founder of Saint Wax, co-owner of Radio Mundo Records, and a curator of grooves that balances retro vibes with fresh energy. His releases include the soulful Behind a Cloud EP (2021), the gospel tinged Get Back EP (2024), and recent singles Idinga and No Fight for Us (2025). Known for his meticulous yet instinctive production, GLEDD blends acoustic instruments, vintage-inspired textures, and contemporary rhythms, always guided by a simple ethos: play what feels right.
