A beautiful blend of gold and pink was casting a spell over the dense old town and soon there would be little but shadows and darkness. In the futurepresent there was no street lights and no guidance for one to wander amidst the concrete empire, it was up to them to make their own way under the cloak of the night sky. Someone who steadfastly marches to the beat of his own drum, Pépe molds together a collection of crystalline melodies, gentle pads, and elegant drum programming that are as unique as they are enjoyable to listen to. Having come out with a record on Loose Fit earlier this year, the Valencian producer continues on his creative streak with a new release set to debut on New York's Let's Play House next month.

Simply titled Aerial, Pépe delivers a 4 track EP that is situated perfectly for springtime with its playful-like demeanor that mimics the feeling of nature and the skies coming to life once again. The tune we have for you today is titled " As Long as There's Sunset," and it truly gets to the heart of what this record is all about. From start to finish, Pépe utilizes syncopated rhythms and jovial synth arrangements to express a movement and energy that makes the listener feel as if they are floating on air - taking in the mesmerizing views that await our eyes as our planet begins to blossom around us.

PREMIERE: Pépe - As Long as There's Sunset

Following on from his well received ‘L’Avventura’ 12”, Warsaw based Bartosz Kruczyński returns as Earth Trax to Phonica’s main label for another EP, this time in collaboration with regular production partner Newborn Jr.

The pair have created a string of brilliant records together, such as ‘Sax & Flute’ on Rhythm Section, ‘Mirage’ on Les Yeux Orange and ‘If You’ on Shall Not Fade. Bartosz also has a growing solo discography under his own name, along with a variety of aliases such as The Phantom, Pejzaz, and of course; Earth Trax.

The A side here offers two versions of the title track, ‘Truth’, in which rose-tinted reminiscences of the golden late 80s era of house music literally echo, with dubbed out diva vocals cascading over wide snares and an almighty bassline, appearing through shimmering delays and reverbs like a vision of bygone nights reappearing in a dream.
