A double debut on NoZzo Music as Ferra Black drops ‘Play’ with UK duo Late replies on remix duties.

LA-based artist & Used Good label boss Ferra Black makes his way to NoZzo Music for the first time as he delivers a percussive-rich offering in ‘Play’. Joining him, also making their label debut, renowned UK duo Late Replies drop in with a standout remix.

‘Play’ opens the release with stripped-back grooves and creative rhythmic constructions. Weighty drums bounce off endless layers of instrumental cadence, whilst a rumbling sub pulsates, and a catchy vocal hook stirs along with the beat. This one is a certified vibe-builder with heaps of attitude and finesse from start to finish.

Late Replies bring the EP to a close with their remix of ‘Play’, featuring a generous serving of their signature flow. Swinging drums and shuddering percs carve out a jackin’ groove whilst rhythmic sub-bass bounces alongside subtle melodic elements and vox chops. Ultimately danceable and loaded with character, capable of lighting up the party with ease.

North West London duo Late Replies will join Jamie Jones’ Hottrax with their four-track EP of delicious House grooves across ‘Ratataa’ dropping on 4th April. To kick off Late Replies’ 2025 schedule, ‘Ratataa’ opens with loose percussion and Deep House pads that glide over a low-swinging, underground pulse. Next, ‘Do It Like That’ shifts gears, locking into a driving, sonic rhythm with a rolling bassline that keeps the energy flowing.
