Kicking things off with 'Bad For The Body, Good For The Soul', four brand new dancefloor-ready cuts from the man himself ready for some heavy rotation this summer. “Local Dealer” gets us started with rattling percussion, moody strings and vocal cuts reminiscent of some forgotten 90s NY classic before “Doggo’s Groove” heads into slicker disco-fueled territory to complete the A-side. Flip things over for “Hippy Disco”, a peak time filter house inspired big room roller, before “Cali” doffs the cap to the smooth sound of early 2000s San Francisco.

As European clubbers are getting more and more tired of dark and monotonous music, it is inevitable that this brighter hard dance sound will once again conquer the dance floors in no time. With big names on the scene including Berghain resident Somewhen and Neri J already injecting hard house and hard trance into their sets, not forget to mention world’s number one techno DJ Charlotte De Witte frequently using BK’s “Revolution” as the closing track in her performances, this trend has already been picked up by a whole generation of younger artists, who consciously choose to give their sets a fresh flavour spicing them up with uplifting Hard House!
