 Born in a family of folk musicians of  Uttar  Pradesh , LATIKA is gifted with musical talent latika was inspired by her mother Smt.Hament Chauhan who is a radio artist in folk singing.She took her initial training in Vocal under the guidance of Pt. Alok Banerjee from bareilly. She was further molded in the art under the tutelage of  Pt. Ritesh Mishra  and then from renowned vocalist Dr. Chetana Banawat from Kirana Gharana.  Latika Chauhan has been honored various medals and awards including Young Artist’s Scholarship from Ministry of Culture.she is also an approved khayal,thumari,bajan and folk artist of AIR
